About the program
Greetings in the name of Jesus, it’s October and the men as well as staff and me are all looking forward to the Fall Year. Looking back, we saw growth in the training for the brick work and new projects for the welding training department web site development, Graphic arts work and a new Lawn Service project. Our prayers are that the men’s program can grow by three or four recipients this year.
Come by and see the change in our office and workshop. Watch as new projects are molded and formed into works of art in the hands of the men, as God transforms them in His image.
I hope that you will call me with your needs in brick and wrought iron work. Letting us bid your job. You can help us to help more men if you will allow the ministry to help you to complete your projects.
What’s in a day?
The day starts with a good breakfast. Afterwards, a group meeting that is centered on the chapter of Proverbs that corresponds with the day of the month. (How to study Proverbs)
After prayer, assignments are given for the day that includes work, chores, and other studies or projects. Lunch is at 12:00 noon, and dinner is at 5:30 PM. After dinner and clean up, personal and study time starts. This happens in the study, living and T.V. areas, or sleeping rooms. This could include running, walking, or weight workout. Quiet time is at 9:00 PM with bedtime at 10:00 PM.
We encourage the men to stay in continued prayer throughout the day, doing all as unto the Lord. They are also encouraged to think on those things that are good, pleasing, and perfect, that will bring happiness and joy to us and our family (How can we do that?).
